The DataWeb 4000 series brings a flexible new approach to telemetry for remote asset monitoring and data acquisition, combining advanced communication methods and accurate measurement into a highly affordable powerful package requiring minimum user configuration. The DataWeb is a DIN rail mounted unit providing eight or sixteen 24 bit analog channels (supporting voltage, current and thermocouple sensors) together with eight digital channels in a rugged and compact package. Data is transferred using an Ethernet network, the Internet or via the integral RS232 port and an additional modem.

Data can be viewed in real-time or as historic CSV files which can be imported into other Windows Applications such as Excel and Word. In addition with more than one Dataweb the data can be captured viewed and logged in real time using the Dataweb Control Centre Software. In its basic form DataWeb only requires Internet Explorer 5. 0 or higher on the client PC, minimising user software costs. This also allows simultaneous access to multiple users, enabling plant data to be viewed in any location.
